This beautiful hand embroidered product is a ‘Kameez’.   ‘Kameez’ is a traditional dress or top which is usually worn with a ‘Salwar’ or traditional trouser. Like many other regions of the Indian sub-continent, the Salwar-Kameez is very popular as a regular wear in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, women wear it along with a scarf which is called ‘Orna’.
