Social experiments in Bangladesh
For International Youth Day, Empower Youth for Work program in Bangladesh conducted social experiments to raise awareness. Some real cases on GBV, SRHR, care work, early marriage and other social problems are addressed. These social experiments will contribute to outlines the challenges, messages and possible solutions to ensure safe space for youth.
Around 90% women commuting in public transport in Bangladesh experience sexual harassment in verbal, physical or other forms. Do you keep silent when you see this happening?

In this video we see the perception of menstrual hygiene. In Bangladesh, people still consider that talking about menstruation in public is a matter of shame. This social experiment video is done by the youth groups formed by Oxfam our partner WAVE Foundation in Barisal. They have provided technical support to our youth groups for making this video.
