On this page we like to share Technical skills modules that are used in one or more countries in the Empower Youth for Work program. It gives the opportinity to share the information and learn from each other in and outside the program. Feel free to use the modules that are relevant for your own work. Technical skills are the abilities and knowledge needed to perform specific tasks. They are practical, and often relate to mechanical, information technology, mathematical, or scientific tasks. Some examples include knowledge of programming languages, mechanical equipment, or tools.
C-BED for Aspiring Entrepreneurs in Tourism Sector is an introductory training that is suitable also for audiences with a very limited literacy and useful to everyone who wants to gain basic familiarity with business development and operation, especially when one would like to be set up a business in the tourism sector. Participants arrive seeking opportunities to make change in their lives, wanting to find or change a vocation or improve their working conditions. At the end of the training, they would leave with basic competencies in business operation and critical learning.

The ILO ASEAN Small Business Competitiveness Programme (SBC) aims at providing a set of low cost tools for countries across the region to develop and upgrade specific/micro small business in common sectors, providing entrepreneurs and those who work with them guidance on how to establish, run and improve their business.
The contents of the Dual apprenticeship training modules of EYW Bangladesh provide 3 months/360 hours curriculum those are designed and developed using Competency Based Training (CBT) approach with the aim of producing skilled human resources for Motorcycle Servicing and Refrigeration and Air condition technician occupation. CBT focuses on knowledge, skill and desirable attitudes to perform according to the standard expected in the Industry. In order to deliver these skills training EYW has developed training modules and provided Training of Trainers (ToT) on the modules to its project staff of partner organizations and number of young male and female who are playing the role as trainer or training facilitator.
